How to make Vegan Cheese with Tofu!

It is easy to make vegan cheese at home, but don't expect it to taste like the cheese that you remember having in your dairy-days (alliteration!) of yesterday.
Vegan tofu cheese is more like a pate, or dense paste that you can slice and spread on bread, crackers or what ever surface you want.
It can be made quickly, but needs to set in the refrigerator for several hours, so plan ahead.

for this recipe you will need

1-2 blocks silken tofu (depending on size of the blocks)
3 garlic cloves
2 tablespoons tapioca flour
2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
2 tablespoons agar agar threads, shredded, or agar agar powder
1 teaspoon miso paste
1 tablespoon vinegar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 cup water for blending

add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
Heat a frying pan over medium. Add the blended tofu mixture and simmer for 8-10 minutes or until thick.
Transfer to a glass container and store in the fridge for at least 2 hours so that it solidifies.
Once solid, remove from the mould and it is ready to serve!
