We keep on returning to this event which is now our favourite flea market. The Annex Flea is a mixture of vintage, homemade products and food that takes place once a month in the Honest Ed's parking lot. (Soon to be moving indoors with fall and winter weather). We actually sold out of two of our favourite items: Empanadas and Gnocchi! Along with these popular two, we served jhal muri, lemongrass iced tea, and a homemade masala chai with coconut milk.
We had fun trying some new vegan dishes and wandering around chatting to other market vendors in the down time.

Three menu items: Jhal Muri, Crispy Sweet Potato Gnocchi and Peanut Stew Empanada. |
We tried a crepe from Litte Dragon Desserts. We love crepes and their banana chocolate sweet crepe was a real treat! |
"Not Butter Chick'un" by Crumble and Flake. These were out of this world! Deliciously spicy sauce, vegetarian chicken and fresh cilantro on a slider bun. Amazing! |
Buskers warming up in the alleyway into the market. Not many people know that Honest Ed's has a parking lot. Well, it does! |
This is Eugenio from Slow Cooking Sauces. We met him at the Junction Flea and were happy to see him again at the Annex Flea. His sauces are vegan and smell amazing and so does that pepper! |
Vegan soaps from Sudsatorium are superb and their display is very impressive! Soaps, shampoos and conditioners come with creative names like Okra Winfrey, Oat of Control, and I Drink Your Milkshake! |
Pre-noon shadows on the building in front of our booth. |
